Equinix Appoints Jarrod Nink as Managing Director, Australia

Industry veteran to drive Equinix's next phase of growth in Australia amid surging demand for AI infrastructure

SYDNEY, Australia – 27 July 2026Equinix, Inc., the world's digital infrastructure company®, today announced the appointment of Jarrod Nink as Managing Director, Australia, effective immediately.

Based in Sydney, Nink will lead Equinix’s Australian business, overseeing strategy, customer growth and operations across one of the world’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets. He will report to Cyrus Adaggra, President, Asia-Pacific, Equinix.

With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across the digital infrastructure, telecommunications and technology sectors, Nink has built a distinguished career leading sales, commercial and operational functions for highly available critical infrastructure, spanning data centres, cable landing stations, terrestrial fibre networks and subsea cable systems.

Most recently, he served as Interim Chief Executive, Enterprise, Government, Wholesale & Infrastructure at Vocus Group. Before that, he held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive, Wholesale & International, leading one of Australia's largest telecommunications infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining Vocus Group in 2018, he was Chief Executive Officer of Hue (CK Hutchison, UK) and held several executive leadership positions during a nine-year tenure at Vodafone Australia.

Nink joins Equinix at a time of unprecedented investment in AI infrastructure across Australia, with accelerating demand for data centre capacity, cloud connectivity and digital infrastructure.

Equinix currently operates one of Australia's largest digital infrastructure footprints, with 18 data centres across six metros, enabling enterprises, cloud providers, network operators and AI innovators to securely connect and scale their digital operations.

Nink holds a master’s degree in Laws & Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management and the University of New South Wales, and a combined bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Law from the University of Sydney.

Nink succeeds Guy Danskine, who relocated to the United States to assume the role of Managing Director, West Americas, at Equinix.
